I've not been in Virgin Gorda in the summer. The fact that things are breezy might help. We don't have air conditioning at home, though, and even though New York is pretty far north it can get hot and muggy during the summer. If you don't have AC, you just move slowly during the hottest part of the day and you get used to it. Think of it as living simply on the island for the week; and besides, the water temperature doesn't change as much...
