I'm not sure I can get biodegradable sunblock locally. It is available from Amazon for about $15USD.

Should I wait and buy it at Mega or Chedraui in Cozumel?

Does it work as well as normal sunblock?

I would think it would be cheaper in the U.S., EVERYTHING on the island is imported, so it is probably cheaper at home

... don't know if it works as well or not.

I've foundsunscreen on Cozumel to be very expensive. The cheapest I found in Mega started at about $220 pesos.

I don't believe the hype about the sunscreen you mention.

Have you ever watched what groupers do...and what all aquatic animals do?

I have never shopped for biodegradable sunblock in Cozumel, but have looked for it at Mega, Walmart, and Chedraui in Playa. They don't carry it.

I did see some "biodegradable" in some pharmacies in Playa, but it was most certainly not biodegradable - enough chemicals and metals in there to choke the proverbial horse.

Google Mexitan Coral Safe, and you'll get honest to god biodegradable at a fair price. Yes, it's more expensive that the "regular" stuff, but really, how much is it going to cost per trip, or per year?

Reasonable minds can disagree about many different subjects. Bringing poop into the conversation though, brings an intimidating end to it.

Touche. You win.

But we won't talk about organic vs inorganic.

Don't bother, I'm done.
