Recently upgraded my bcd and started diving steels in sidemount. Probably never more than 4 bottles at a time. Pros and cons to setting up with or without butt plate. Thankx to all that read and reply.

Mine came with one built in. So I use it.
.....except if your rig came with them and you don’t want to change.....lol

Setting up the xdeep tec and going to start without it and see what happens. Thankx y’all. Keep it coming.
The xdeep is not meant to have a buttplate, don't add one
