Business trip to Sunnyvale in late May

I am going to be in Sunnyvale on business in late May. Any advice on options to pickup a few dives while I'm there? I'm considering coming in a day or two early (Memorial Day weekend) in order to get in 1 or maybe 2 days of diving. What options do I have in the area? Any shore diving? Any recommended sites? What about dive operators/charters? Any recommendations?

There's currently at least a half dozen threads on the front page of the NorCal section that address all of these questions. Sunnyvale is not too far from Monterey/Carmel which is going to be your best bet. Tons of good shore diving.

How late in May?

NWGratefulDiver is coming out ~May 18 - 20 ish, and a few of us are semi-planning a get together and dive. If you were going to be here at the same time, you could meet a bunch of folks!

Shoot! Unfortunately, I won't be coming in until most likely the Sunday of Memorial weekend and staying the following week. I'd like to get in a couple of dives on Memorial Day and possibly 1 or 2 more late afternoon/evening dives during the week if possible. Kinda depends upon the meeting schedule with the vendor I'm visiting in Sunnyvale.

I would have loved to have been able to join you guys. I've read so many of NWGD's posts that I would have loved to have met him. Hero worship, ya know. eyebrow
