Bungee mount for Oceanic Veo 180 Nx

I made my wrist mount for my VEO 200 into one , you could do something similar (have since converted it by adding a button hole on side to use with my VEO250)

I have a Veo 200 which may be the same size. I just use the UWATec bottom timer mount. Works great but I have to pull it out each time to download my dives.

It's the Deep Sea Supply mount. You can get it direct from them or from several other online sources.

Mine started as the Oceanic wrist mount, then cut the straps off (I like how it's very compact compared to the generic wrist mounts you can get for your computer)

The DSS mount ... I checked with my friends (I'm pretty sure it's UWATec mount) and it was too short, the computer sticking up/out about 1/4 inch ... did not go far enough in to be secure I thought.

I would love to have one of Tobin's DSS mounts if that's possible

Mine does stick up a bit, almost a 1/4" I'd say, but I quickly got over it. I have to actually grab it and pull by that little amount to get it to come out. No way anything's doing that underwater. It's quite snug in the Uwatec mount. I worry more about breaking both bungies on the same dive.

I'd try it and see. It'll cost you about $10-12 for the mount and no need to cut up anything.

I wasn't comfortable thinking my comuter was not truly secured in the mount

Note: For the VEO 250 you would have to cut a hole in the DSS boot for the side button ... probably no biggie because I had to do the same to my Oceanic 200 mount to convert it

Thanks for the info guys. i think I'll try one of the DSS mounts and see how comfortable I am with it.
