Better check what the actual situation at Minahasa Lagoon is. The resort has been partly destroyed after big floods hit Manado and surroundings between 13 and 19 February. According to my information they are going to rebuild the resort but that will certainly need time.

Has anyone stayed at Siladen resort and spa? I'm thinking of going there late April....

Have only seen it but never stayed there - but looks great, and I have heard good things. If you are considering to stay at one of the upmarket places you should also take a look at www.ganggaisland.com - truly fantastic place, imo.
