I just spent a week diving at Bonaire. About the third day there my hands (the tops between the knuckles and the wrist) started to itch. At first I thought it was just one of the many mosquito bites we were all experiencing, but later bumps started appearing that looked like a rash.

Two others of our group also experienced the same "rash" on the hands and one person on her thighs.

I was diving nitrox and using an air computer so I know I was well within the safety range and this couldnt be any kind of DCS.

One person thought we might be having a reaction due to the coral spawning.....supposedly it is that time of year there.

Anyone have any experience like this before??? What did you put on it and how long did it last??
Thanks
Rich

Rich,

Welcome back! Hope you had a good time. How odd...checked with Renee, nothing changes in detergent, etc at the Inn...maybe heat rash, or I know this time of year, jellyfish tenticles.. microscopic...maybe? Let me know! Liz
