The bull sharks are already making their way to Playa del Carmen for their annual winter visit. During the past week, they've been spotted at Tortugas, Moc-che Deep, & Tres Boyas reefs among others! So amazing to have these beautiful sharks glide by you on a dive. It's still pretty early for them to be in Playa so it will probably be a while before shops are doing a planned shark dives, but still nice to see them on a regular ocean dive.
A surprise visitor to the reefs of Playa...a six-foot hammerhead. That was very cool to see! Not often that we see them here.
