I'd recommend the thread starter Jason, owner of Fantasea Dive. I've dove with him a couple years now and am very pleased with the personalized service. I'll be diving with J again at the end of April. Jason can handle anything from local to Cozumel, to cenotes.

I would recommend the ëcodiving Tours¨shop, I dived with them a couple of weeks ago for four days, did about 10-12 tanks the shark dive, some cenotes, Cozumel wall and the Ship Wreck, which seriously has got to be a must. As I said before I come to Playa a lot and I only went with these guys because my usual shop was full and they came recommended by a friend (who does some freelance "divemastering") and I will definately be going back.

I can highly recommend Jason, owner of Fantasea dive as well. I used him for my OW certificate this last December. As was mentioned very personalized and knowledgeable about the area.

Thanks for the information on 'Ecodiving Tours'. I would like to know more because, quite honestly, I've never heard of them. I found the web site but it doesn't have an address for the shop. I would also be interested in the size and style of boat and where (which beach) it left from. I like to keep track of all the dive shops so I can try and dive with as may as possible. I quite often let people know my favorites but it is only 'good information' if I have a broad base of experience on which to base my opinion. I look forward to your response.

Hey man,

the address is on the website, in the ¨contact us¨ section but here it is anyway

Address:

Phone and Fax: +52-984-879-4716

Toll Free:

The boats were fairly small about 8 seaters, and I´m afraid I don´t know the name of the beach but it´s the one just down the road opposite Phantom Divers. Drop them a line tho´they were pretty sound guys.

Hope this helps dude.
