I have an opportunity to go to Southeast Asia around November 24th. I have a week and am looking for a budget dive trip for my wife 11 yo son and myself. We do not need anything fancy. As long as it's a safe dive operation I'm in. We have stayed in everything from bamboo huts to tents. We are all certified divers.

The diving in Southern Leyte is wonderful and there are some excellent good value resorts in the area. This is a flight from Manila or a ferry trip from Cebu.

Another good value area Is Bali, Candidasa , Amed , Nusa Lembongan, Padang Bai or the Gili Islands all have excellent diving and there are lots of very good value home stay style places to stay about.

With only a week avoiding internal flights would be a good idea.

Philippines.
1. Southern Leyte is good but you need an extra domestic flight.
2. SB Invasion 2016 went to Puerto Galera and they stayed at Atlantis which is at the top end of the scale. However, there are others to suit your budget eg. Blue Ribbon, Frontier and South Sea. I am pretty sure they can offer a nice package for three of you.

Thanks for the info. I'm am checking out South Sea. I will let you know what I come up with.
