They are machined brass, just like a regulator. The only thing that is plastic is the sensor tee (which doesnt need to be made out of metal, it doesnt see HP).

The El Cheapo Tee/DIN Connector is PVC -- it is plasticy. Of course, it's not meant for opening the valve up more than a crack to let some gas flow.

Not a problem with the OMS one. You can crank it as much as you want and its sturdy. Pressure regulated and everything.
