Budget accommodations in Cebu?

Don't expect much. I think they only have a few rooms less than 10 perhaps. Not a popular place to stay. It's basically a dive center.

If you take the airport car service, maybe 300 to 400 pesos. Or cross the street and go upstairs to the departure level and try ur luck with the metered taxis. It should cost you <150 pesos.

Hi guys,

In case you decide to stay in ScubaWorld Punta Engano (ride beside hilton and shangrila right in between I think in fact), its a pretty basic accomodation and food but rooms are airconditioned and cheap. I believe its around PHP1000 to PHP1500 per night per room depending on the what you get. The twin sharing room or the family room with 3 beds. The facility is now an IDC center. It has the classrooms and a pool. It also offers Nitrox if I am not mistaken. From there to the airport is about a ten or less minutes ride. Just an fyi.

if with walking distance (5 min) walk up way to former Paradive resort now own by Scuba World, they have air con n fan room, otherwise take a jeep (ten peso) to Mactan town center stay at MACTAN pension house (1ooo peso) cheaper n more convenient than Hotel Cesario (not bad too, mid range around 40 US $) you can ask more info at my private e mail. Cebu Shangri use to b my second home. Scout learn from Paul at a liveaabroad 8 or ten years ago, I was there as a dive guest!
