Hi Everybody, I am Padi advanced open Water but I am having a tough time trying to find a female buddy to dive with. I live in The Quakertown PA. area. Any Ideas where to look?

Thanks Linda

HI Linda,
Welcome to the scuba boards. When I started diving I didn't have a buddy either. And I wanted to find other women divers. My business partner gave me the idea  to start posting "Woman only" dive trips on line. She was right, there were more women out there like me!
Now the group trips are doing so well, that we had 13 women in Bonaire in March.
Posting the way you did will help. Be patient. There's tons of women divers out there without buddies.
If you're ever interested in joining one of our Caribbean trips email me for more details. By the way, we discovered there were men out there with no buddies either. So we 'let' them join our trips, if they're really cool. The trip with the 13 women also had 8 men.
I know there are a few web sites out there. One is called "Buddy Find". I'm sure someone will come up with the link, and post it.

Hi Linda,

Welcome to the board. I'm new to diving so the buddy thing is an issue for me as well. One option which I will probably be doing is joining a local dive club in order to meet other divers.
