Hi,

I would like to go to Haigh with my new toy, a rebreather, and get all situated with my weighting and dive it with a drysuit for the first time.

If someone is interested in putzing around in the shallows as my buddy, and possibly doing a body recovery, that would be great. Obviously if you have anything else to get worked out I would be more than willing to help as well.

The 18th/19th, 25th/26th all work for me.

Thanks,

J

Haigh quarry is kind of far away from me. Would you be willing to try Pearl Lake in South Beloit? It's about half-way between us and I would love the opportunity to see a rebreather up close and in action.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Maybe over the summer we could meet up and go diving. I would have no problems going over my kit and how it works etc. Haigh is really close for me and I am used to it, so for what I want to do initially I think it makes the most sense.

Actually I've never even been to Pearl, but I've heard horror stories. :)

Are you looking for a Rebreather buddy or is OC ok?

Count me in for the 26th. The shallows are fine with me since I'll be breaking in the new Zeagle. Got any extra lift bags in case a recovery is required?

Hi parrotfins...as a matter of fact I have 100 1lb lift bags left over from the quarry clean up operation. How bout we just tie those to me ahead of the dive so all you have to do is go around and fill them up?

The 26th works out great for me. I knew you would chime in. :)
