Buddy List

I'm sure it's blatantly obvious somewhere, but I'm just going to ask. What does the buddy list do for me?

Years ago, the names in your buddy list were actually links to their profiles. I don't know why that feature was taken away. Now the buddy list is pretty much useless. I keep hoping they'll fix it.

Those users being on your buddy list appear with a black cross in the list of the "currently active users" at the bottom of the main page when they are online at the same time like you - looks a bit weird to me though, the cross...
this would help if we could start a chat, but for now we can't, so I am not too sure about the sense if this....

It'd be nice if I could send a mass PM to all of my buddies at once. Now, I can only send to 5 addresses at a time.

Double click the black (or blue) box next to their name to see their profile....
