Buddy for Sipadan

I am PADI Certified as Advanced Open Water Diver. I'm looking for a person or persons who are interested in diving together during this time period. Some friends of mine who have been here before, have told me that this oil rig is a great place to dive. Around the platform there is some great dive spots. You don't even need a boat. And of course, it is very easy to take a boat to all the surrounding islands.

Hey there! Sorry to see no one has replied to you. You don't really need to have a buddy to go on diving trip/package with resorts like Seaventures in Mabul. Most resort only charge single supplement fee for boat/land transfer if you are the only person arriving/departing on the date. On accommodation, as long as you are happy to share or stay in dormitory the standard 50% surcharge does not apply. Most resort within Mabul help each other out when its comes to single travelers (shared pick-ups/airport transfers). Its more important that you get into Tawau/Semporna within the scheduled time to avoid surcharge.
