I know that many Europeans probably already know about the amazing caves & mines in Budapest, but I recently visited and spent some time there and wrote about the experience. Budapest is an amazing city and the cave diving is world class. The trip report includes a ton of details on logistics, lodging, diving operation, etc.

Hopefully others benefit from this Trip Report. I am also writing more detailed posts on the MJ Cave & the Kobanya Mine.

Any and all comments, feedback, suggestions, etc. welcomed.

Regards,

I was following Ben's posts during the trip. This has peaked my interest enough that I might just get some cave classes to make this trip happen. Mostly the mine site.
I saw the rEvo in Ben's pictures, but didn't realize it was yours.

Yep - it was a great trip. I think the next time he does it, they will spend two days diving the mine site. There are four possible dives there and we did two of them.

Here is the post specific to the MJ Cave. I will also provide a similar post on the Kobanya mine this week after I finish it.

Picture below is from @DiveTucson. There are a ton more photos and videos (including 360 VR videos) at the post linked above.

If you are a cave diver (or want to get into cave diving), the MJ Cave is world class.
