OK folks.....
A little hint to make your trip easier & fun for all involved. This will be my 3rd year at Sea Base as an instructor / Divemaster. I have been an instructor since 1978, a Divemaster since 1977, & diving since 1965, so let me share a little......
While preparing for your trip make sure some water & equipment time is included to make the prep at Sea Base a lot less stressful. You need to spend time practicing ALL the skills you learned in class. When you go to Philmont you get ready by doing hikes with an increasing amount of weight in your packs until you are topped out. By putting the same effort into SCUBA prep before you get to Sea Base will ABSOLUTELY make the trip so much more enjoyable.
I hope this helps in prepping for the trip........
Hints on how to do this....... gfhjr@swbell.net
