Hey all,

Wasn't sure where to post this question so I put it in here.

I was down at the beach today just messing around and noticed the waters looked different than I have ever seen them. This was at Redondo Beach and Hermosa. They looked really green in places, with spots of bright green floating around.

When the waves would break there would be streaks of bright green in the white froth.

What is the bright green stuff? Something to do with kelp?

Seemed very "particle" like. Not sure how to describe it.

Like I said, first time I have ever seen this. Used to come out to CA a few times a year on Vacation to the beach but now I live out here.

that popped into my mind too but i sure hope not, that would be pretty gross
