Has anyone heard of the Brickyard Quarry in Saint Elmo, IL? I tried searching under GLWC and Mid-West Muck Divers but can’t find any information. I am looking for current conditions and to know if they have air fills on site?

My wife and I drove out there once to check it out. Since it's about 100 miles from St.louis we thought it might be a good dive location. It appears to be a very small operation. If you call them on the phone and are lucky enough get an answer you will get a response like, "if you let us know when your coming down I'll come over and open the gate for ya".
I think they do some of their own classes there, but it's not a "real" dive site like Mermet or even Rolla. It took us a couple of hours asking around town to find the location. There is a very small dive shop near by. Basically just a shack. And yes there is probably an air compressor there, but it would require someone to be there to get air.
Also when you go to their web site the pics are misleading. I doubt seriously that the pic showing 30+ feet vis is from the quarry. When you click on the picture link you get pics from some of there out of state dive trips, not quarry pics.
It was about a year ago that we were there and I have not dove there so I can't say for certain, but no St.louis dive shops go there for certifications. I would think if it were good diving it would get alot of attention, as close as it is to St.louis.
Again, I haven’t dove there, and conditions could have changed since I checked it out.
