Anybody know the brand name of the hood that has the vent on top to help aleviate trapped air issues?

Mine is a SeaSoft. It's a vented hood, but I still added a couple of extra holes, which you can do to any hood to make it vented. LINK

bare does too

DUI as well. I didn't have to make more holes on it. It's perfect for me.

Try a 5/16 drill bit. Then use some patch glue around the edges to stop it from fraying.

yup i did the drill bit thing on my current hood sometime back. getting a bit ratty now and wanted to check into a vented hood. thx

Just heat a nail, ice pick, etc. on the stove or a propane torch, and poke a hole thru. Melts a nice clean hole, and seals the edges. I put about 4-5 in a row on my old Henderson, to allow air to escape a bit faster.

I think it would be easier to list who doesn't make a hood with a vent. Mine is a Henderson but I added another hole since their vent wasn't in the greatest spot for me.
