I have someone that will sell me the following for $100. They say it's new and can't tell me right now what kind of wing it is (not in front of it). The back plate is Dive Rite and it has a harness already on it.

Does anyone recognize the wing? Will any wing fit the back plate? I've been wanting to upgrade to a BP/W for a while, but haven't been wanting to spend the money since I have a perfectly good BCD that I like and would rather spend $ on a new tank instead. Is there anything else needed besides the wing, back plate and harness?

Thanks,

Greg

Is the seller aikiguy?

A few days ago, he was asking for help on IDing this "mystery" gear that a friend gave him.
Check out the thread for more info.

If it's not the same BP/W, then it looks very similar.

Did the seller tell you how much lift the wing has?

It's someone local to me, not on SB. Aftere skimming through that thread, it seems I'm better off with continuing my search for an HP130. It seems that wing is an obsolete design that is probably too big for single tank diving.

I'd pass too, that looks like an old UAL doubles wing and it is too big for single cylinder diving, as Bubbletruble said the plastic BP setup is not worth buying either

If they want to get rid of it, I could use the components. Let me know and I'll pass along the contact data.
