Got my BP and harness today. I need a set of cam straps for my BP/W setup. id like two SS ones, but if you got one ill probably take it. i am also looking for weight pockets. i typically use 6-9 lbs (depends on wetsuit, etc), so i need 2 5lbs pockets. once again, if you have 1 ill probably take it.

oh, not that i think it matters but these are going on a DR AL BP, an oxycheq hog harness, and an Oxycheq Mach V wing (which i am also looking to buy).

thanks guys!

just checked them out. $9 for a 5lbs pocket is awfully good. so i guess take weight pockets off the list. lol. thanks flatliner!

so now im just looking for tank straps. :)

sorry enigmata that i didnt get back to you, ive been looking around trying to find a pair.

after looking around i figured out i had 2 extra weight belts. each has about 40+ inches on it, and each is 2" nylon straps. so if anyone has 2 spare tank strap buckles ill take em. SS is prefered, but plastic would be ok.

@skimphish: If you're willing to go with cambands with plastic buckles, then LeisurePro sells the XS Scuba Tank Band Conversion Kit (specify the Large bands). AFAIK, the Kit comes with 2 bands...for $18 (not incl. s/h). That's a great deal in my book.

If you're set on buying new SS cambands, I'd recommend taking a look at Northeast Scuba Supply. They have the Dive Rite SS bands on sale currently.

Hope this info helps...

i looked at the XS scuba tank band conversion kit, but i couldnt tell if that was for 2 or for 1. b/c they sell them in 2 sizes, so i didnt know if the pic was of the 2 different sizes or not. ill give em a call tomorrow.

if it is 2 for $18 then ill go that route. its just too cheap to pass up. i know that they are plastic, but for atleast 2 years (they have a 2 year warranty) they will work.

and thanks bubbletrouble. love the s/n. lol

and if i would have read the features on the XS scuba straps i would have seen that it comes with 2 straps... so im going that route, cant beat it.

so mods, yall can lock this one up.

You close it yourself. Look under thread tools.

If you are looking for normal 2" camband with SS buckel, try Leisurepro. I got a pair of Dive Rite from them for ~$40.

As for xs scuba pocket, you need to be a little careful with your weight selection. Not all 5lb weight will go in the pocket. You need soft lead shots, or if you want coated hard weight, you will need the kind that shape like the sea pearl.
