I just bought myself the Dive Rite RG2500 setup from the LDS for about 360. The octo will be about 70ish. I can't wait to go diving this weekend to try it out.

That's always a great moment.
Stick with it. Be wise, and buy stuff that lasts. Take care of it. I've had my first reg set (Atomic B1) for 7 years now. Never a problem, works perfectly. I've read posts on here of people still diving their original regs from 10 or 20 years ago.
