Okay, I know what the wet means in wetsuit but my boots are getting a bit crazy. I've had two different types of boots (Oceanic hard sole and Pinnacle soft sole) and after each dive my feet a frozen and pruned because it feels like I've had water flushing in and out.

Both styles have a side zip and I've tried with neoprene socks as well, under the legs of my wetsuit, over the legs and to no avail.

Any suggestions of techniques or other brands of boot that will prevent the "slosh"?

One option might be "drysocks", which are sold here in the UK for £15 and which seal against the calf of the leg to prevent water entering:

Lycra or neoprene socks can be worn over or under them, providing warmth. They're sold by Wessex Watersports.
