Oh! And never never never exposure your neoprene to the sun (except when diving, obviously). Some one said it before -- direct sunlight is the death of neoprene. As soon as possible after a dive, get your gear rinsed and into the shade. Your neoprene will last for years if you make that a habit.

Why do rental suits consistently suck? The first thing most divers do is whip off their wetsuits and lay them out to dry during the surface interval.

He said "out of the sun" not "out in the sun", meaning not in the sun or in the shade.
 
Thanks for the tips everyone! The search for drying & boots worked perfectly...

some of the tips aren't useful for what I was looking for (while away on dive trips) but were helpful none-the-less
 
The plastic inserts that come in some fins are also useful for keeping booties open to dry.
