i did and i have enjoyed what little i have had time to read even though it hasnt been much yet. i bought the book and the CD, not knowing they would be the same. if i had it to do over i would have just bought the CD and printed out the book from there which i did print out one from the CD for my wife.

you have to understand that i know NOTHING at all about cameras other that just point and shoot so it will help me a lot more than the people that already know some about them.

I purchased it, and also have not gotten all the way through it. But I think it was well worth the investment. I have been able to read explanations for things that were not explained as clearly in the user manual and actually understood what I was reading!
