Jim Blay and I are trying to get a few others to join us. We have 4 dives scheduled, cost is $65/dive, so $260 for all 4 - we haven't looked into lodging yet, as it will be a "meet us there" kinda deal.

Was there in November, viz was about 50'. Lighting not as bright as I would have thought. About the same brightness as on a 170' deep wreck up here. Vista's were cool going from a lighted 20' saddle to black hole's...of unknown depth. You never go anywhere without one of their tour leaders. If I did it again I would bring my dry suit. 60 degrees sounded warm to me but the dampness seems to just go through you. Was hard to warm up between dives.

If you negotiate a "class" rate and look into renting lodging on site it isn't too bad.

Bonne Terre is a righteous dive. There is no doubt about that, and I hope to make it back to the Treasure hunt this year.

As luck would have it, I promised my wife that I would do something with her 6 mos ago, "Just give me a months warning" - well, 2 days after we book this, she tells me when it is - so Jim is in charge :-(

Just got back from the mine.Dove 5 Bear Trails with John leading and Mike as safety.Sat. dove the City,Rotator and a New Lake Room Trail.Way cool.Sun. dove the City again and finished off with the Tressel.What a great weekend of diving.Everyone at the mine makes you feel like family.I love you guys.Can't wait to come back,hopefully in a couple of months.Also,give the Crossroads a try.Great steaks.Steve Crane
