I haven't been diving for 10 years now and when I did, in South Africa, NAUI was all the rage. PADI was regarded as inferior. Now I come to Europe, and here in France, there are no recognized NAUI affiliates. How come? What happened to the "biggest and best"?
I'm now diving in France and French overseas territories, so I'm crossing over to PADI and doing an upgrade to DM at the same time.
PADI, although not as French as the FFESSM is widely recognized here.
