Any info or input on the Bonica HDDV? It is advertised to shoot up to 720p.
Very tiny, convenient, very reasonable price, any catches or bugs folks have heard of?

The whole package runs for less than upgrading to a HD camera alone (nevermind the $4000 housing).

All input welcome.

I own one of them. You are not going to get professional grade video. But it is a fun camera. It records well. It is easy to handle.

I use it primarily for video recording my students for swim technique and buoyancy. However, I have some amazing footage from Bonaire with some eagle rays in 25 feet of water.

Retails for less than $800. I think it is worth it, without hesitation, but my expectations were for what it is .. a high quality, low cost camera. Not an IMAX camera.

I have one in my arsenal of cameras too. Very small and lightweight. It does not have steady cam in it so it is a bit shaky if you do not use a tripod on land....but the consumer does not notice it, the pro-sumer does. For the price and what you want it for..that is the question. It has this special skin you can use it for watersports or snow skiing and not worry about the camera getting wet...

We have a couple videos under learn to dive on the website taken with the Bonica on land...

Hope this helps...
