WOW, what a trip. Didn't start off to well though. When Sandy and I arrived at Montego Bay, a gentleman was being given CPR right at our gate...he was gray in the face..didn't look good. I asked around last night at the airport there and found out he didn't make it. Not a good start to our trip, but fortunately that is the only bad thing that happened.

No lost luggage, no delays, no DCS incidents, just a couple scratches/bruises from shore diving, some piece of the ocean penetrated my right big toe..went right thru my bootie and in my toe. Didn't get it out until the third day. :)

We did 24 dives which consisted of the following sites:

Lac Bay, Blue Hole, Atlantis, Red Beryl, Margaret Bay, Alice in Wonderland, Angel City, The Lake, Calabas Reef, Forrest, The Cliff, Jeff Davis, Webers Joy, Thousand Steps, Ol Blue, and Karpata.

We dove Lac Bay and the Blue Hole four times (2 boat trips). Excellent dives with lots of larger creatures, very different from the typical Bonaire dives. I am going to make it a habit to dive the East side on all my future trips to Bonaire...its that good.

Sandy and I had an absolute blast the entire trip, both topside and in the water. Watching her experience the clear water for the first time was soo cool. She was pointing out crap left and right and was real excited. She did an awesome job with her bouyancy and I was real comfortable diving with her. We did a couple dives between 80 and 100 feet and everything went fine, I paid attention to her for narcosis and we talked about it before the dives, but she had no problems. In fact we had no problems during any dives, it was truly relaxed diving.

I was happy to see many familiar faces at Divi Flamingo. Most of the people there remembered me, well atleast my face. I was dissappointed on how they had the tanks setup this time. My last trip all you had to do was pull up to a back fill station and load the tanks...15 foot walk. Now they have ALL the tanks at their main dock, so you have to use a dolley to wheel the tanks up to the resort entrance on the North side...behind the dive shop. Real annoying and an inconvenience, felt like I was rolling tanks up and down the whole trip. I understand they had a theft problem with the old setup, but there has to be a happy medium somewhere.

I'm only going to post 1 pic right now, but I'll upload several pics and provide a link to them shortly.

By the way, this first pic is for O-ring. :)

Glad you had a good trip and were able to ditch Sandy long enough to have some fun with the donkeys. You used exposure protection, right?
