Any truth to the story that lionfish have arrived in Bonaire?

Yes, lion fish are now there as of last November. Second generation has also been confirmed so they are now reproducing there as well. Spotting and marking them will be part of every dive orientation.:depressed:
 
I saw one extremely tiny Lionfish when we were there in June. A larger one was captured a bit earlier at the same site, so they are establishing themselves, I am afraid.
 
That is what the little pest at Something special looked like. If one of the divers in our group had not settled down directly in front of the small coral head in a sea of sand, just poking along, no one would have ever seen it.
