AB does have very good rates on weekly rentals. I stayed at Captain Don's, where AB has a satellite office, so I was able to pick up there.
 
1. Get a truck. Check the wheels - the never the better - you will be on the sand ...
dont' leave $100 sticking out from under the wiper. Think before you go diving what you will have to leave on shore and what you will need.

2. it's hell for 2 days upon arrival. After that you will notice the cold breeze in the evening :blinking: . If you are talking about AC in the turck - "Mexican AC" worked perfectly well for us. If about the one in the house - we would have died w/o it.

3. i'm not good source of info on this one.

4. take it. Take 2 good size bottles. Especially if you are going to visit a mangroo swamps...
 
I'll be going back to Bonaire for 2 weeks this time.....
I loved having a truck and diving when and where I felt like, lots of good food to enjoy( Donna and Giorgio's is a must ), and never too hot or too cold.....
