I'm back from Bonaire after a wonderful week of diving. I brought my Kiss rebreather and checked out the deeper parts of the reefs. Included are some photos from rec dives as well as some deeper sites.

Excellent photos, Doug! I've never been able to get that close to a garden eel before it dived back into its hole. Do you think you were able to get so close because of the rebreather or were you just very, very patient?

Beautiful shots - what are you using?

Very beautiful picture and I do have same Q. what set up you use for
taking such great shots ?

Thanks, everyone.

The shots were taken with a Canon 300D with either the 10-22mm (at 10mm) for the wide angle shots or a 100mm for the macro. The garden eel shot just took a lot of patience and the rebreather probably helped. I slowly crawled over the sand for about 5 minutes.

Debersole, thank you so much for sharing, I absolutely love those deep shots that you took.
Someone who dives a rebreather here, once described to me the huge soft sponges that he saw at 200fsw in grand cayman.....

Wow, just amazing :D
