I second Scubasam's recommendation. I've used Bonairetalk the past 2 years to line up dive buddies and had good success. I'm planning on going again with one of my sons and possibly my brother, both new divers, as long as both get the vacation week approved. April 28 to May 5 at the Plaza. If you're on Bonaire then you're welcome to join us.

jar546,
Hey I need a fix soon. When were you thinking? I normally do The Big Island in FEB-March but am looking for something different or someone to do the The Big Island HI with. Most of my diving on the Big Island is shore diving out of a 4 X 4.

Will be in Bonaire Feb 18-Mar ; solo the first two weeks. Don't mind having a buddy some of the time. Have been there much so know good spots.

Thanks folks for all of your replies. I am not sure exactly when I am going yet, i just know it will be after the 1st of the year. We are in the middle of purchasing a house in Florida and don't know how long that process will take

I am very interested, I have not been to Bonaire, but have dived Roatan.

to Oly5050user........Hi, I'm new to this forum, but I am solo and looking to dive Bonaire this May and saw your post about a group trip. Is it still an option? How can I get some more info? Thanks so much
alpsters

I was there solo one time and I just drove my truck around the southern sites..pulling over when I saw divers asking if I could join them. Not one person said no (then again, I offered them $20 each.. j/k)

I'm self-sufficient in the water, so this was no big deal...it practically was solo diving anyway.

Be careful though...you never know what kind of buddies you'll end up with.

J
