Just started planning for our 2nd trip to Bonaire. Our first trip was with a small group, not planned that way just happened. Turned out to be a great trip and a lot of fun diving with a small group. Doesn't look like any of our local friends will be able to make it this year though. So looking to maybe meet some new dive buddies while we're there. Tentative at this point but looks like June 16-23. Family of four with three divers (myself, son 22 and daughter 17). Wife is non-diver so she's hoping for same to hang out with while we spend most waking hours in the water. If your planning for that same week chime in and we'll compare notes.

Bumping back to top. We've booked everything (June 16-23) and have started our count down. Staying at Perla again and I think we're going to use Dive Friends at Hamlet (across the street from Perla) for dive op. Can't wait to get there! Welcome responses from anyone else who will be there during same time. Always open to diving, dinner, drinks with new friends.

Just down the street, almost directly across the street from Sand Dollar/Buddy. We stayed there on our last trip. Price was very good and units are pretty much new. There are seven or eight villas/houses in gated area centered around a courtyard/pool. I could pull the truck right up next to the house which had it's own wash sink and lockable storage locker, very convenient. Unit we had (Chikitu) was 2 bedroom 2 1/2 bath so plenty of room for family of four. We're staying there again which is about the best recomendation I think you can give a place.

Yeah, the pics on their web site look really nice. They seem to have some single bed units - Bonaire is a dive buddy trip rather than a family one for me.

Wannadive might be another close dive op for you to consider. Their main facility is at Eden Beach. Easy tank swap there.

Bump. Two weeks out :) can't wait. For those of you there now please post at least a quick trip report.
