You're right Jody, Invasions are the best for meeting the friendliest people. Where did you stay in Jan.? I moved down the road and stayed at SSC. Great experience!

I had to Google SSC to find out what that is - was that the Sabor? I thought about staying there.. it looks lovely and is recommended highly. I actually opted to stay somewhere familiar, the Fiesta Americana. It's halfway down the way, a little closer to the dive sites (I have also stayed at the Iberostar right at the end) but you can't beat the prices of Fiesta Americana. All that being said, they are changing there and I think they are being switched to being a timeshare resort... so perhaps I won't be staying there again next time.

Yeah, I toured the grounds at Scuba Club Cozumel a few years ago after reading some great reviews about the place. Looks awesomely suited for divers, unfortunately I went to Cozumel with a non-diver so going to a place like that wasn't really an option. Good thing I won't have to worry about traveling with a non-diver again

Thank you James! It was Scuba Club Cozumel. We also went to the Iberostar every year for over 10 years. Had not heard it was switching to a time share. Made many friends with Dressel DM's over the years and always free Nitrox!

Sorry, original post edited. It was a bit confusing - it's actually the Fiesta Americana that is switching to be a timeshare, not the Iberostar, but I had stayed at both.

I liked the Iberostar but actually, did not love Dressel Divers... let's chat in Bonaire Colin! I don't remember what you look like, come find me if you know what I look like? If not... I'm not too hard to spot. I'm the tall loud(ish) blonde one on the obnoxious DT#8.

I just happened to schedule a trip to Bonaire the same week as your invasion. Is there any chance I could get involved with some of your events? I'm solo this week..
