Welcome and bring the camera (and tripod). We were just goofing, but got some interesting pics of town and constellations around Seru Largu that we didn't notice until we transferred pics to computer. Gave me a chance to play with long exposures but failed to bring my tripod (next trip)... Milky Way was amazing March 2011 from south end. The Bonaire Reporter (Welcome to The Bonaire Reporter) includes a Sky Park column providing seasonal highlights.

The Samur is a blast if they are sailing. Our last few trips they were doing more snorkel business, no sunset or dinner cruising, but call, great folks. I believe Sunset Grill at Den Laman closed and Kirk moved off island. Will miss his Green Parrot-Lions Den-Sunset Grill burger, it was always the first day dinner. Do yourself a favor and make reservations. Check out Rum Runners at Capt Dons Habitat. Call and make a reservation for a table down by the water around sunset, secluded, private and you can watch the tarpon come out to feed. Bring bug spray everywhere!

Bonaire is a place to dive your brains out. No too much variation but you are in control. If you love diving, you will be satisfied whether it is your honeymoon or your 40th anniversary. If you are not going there primarily for the diving, you are making a mistake. It is no problem to have plenty of longer than needed surface intervals. If you like Italian, Capricio's is good - not cheap.
