Bonaire dive test?

When we dove with plaza toucan the DM was in the water and just went on his way and as he would swim by every now and then just ask if u were ok.

How do they work it if you have no gear and use rentals. Do they supply gear or do you have to rent somewhere and bring it for the check out?

If you use rentals, you do the check dive with your rental gear.

The airline "lost" our luggage for four days. We had rental gear to start that was provided at the dive shop where we did the check out.

Attend a lecture on the Bonaire dive rules, don rental gear, go for a dive (no DM), look at the fishes and do a few skills on our own, exit the water, pay the park fee, receive tags to attach to our BCDs, head out on our way.

Sorry it took so ong to answer we were camping over the weekend and no internet. It is just like ted said, we had some people in out resort that were renting everthing.
