Does anyone recall how many liters of alcohol Bonaire allows for visitors? I have a trip scheduled in November and want to visit the duty free shop before boarding my plane and don't want to over buy.

For example, Grand Cayman has a 1 liter per person.

Thanks in advance.

I think customs enforcement (like most everything) is a bit hit-n-miss at Bonaire airport. In Sept, we only had passport stamped by immigration with no interaction with customs at all. Grabbed our bags and walked outside. YMMV.

I doubt you will have any issue, 90+% of the time the immigration stamp is all the check you will get. There are plenty of places to buy spirits on the island, if it were me, I would just buy it there, carrying the extra weight is not worth possible saving of a few dollars IMO.

Thanks for the reply and pointing me to Info Bonaire, I hadn't seen that site before and found the information you reference. Much appreciated!

Unless you have a special bottle or two that you really want to bring down I'd leave it all at home. The new dutch supermarket had very reasonable prices on wine and booze wasn't too bad either.
