ScubaJW:Hello yall,
My buddy and I are going back to Bonaire this summer. Last year, when we were in Bonaire, we searched for caves as I know there is cave(s) somewhere. Do you guys know where the caves are? I don't mind explore it and go snorkeling in it if possible.
Thanks!
PacketSniffer:From what I understand from another cave diver in one of our local forums who has done one is that there is wet cave there. However, the locals treat it as taboo. I imagine they don't want the negativity that it could bring if accidents start occurring. There are a few local guides on the island that can get you in there. Needless to say, bring the appropriate gear.
By the way, WannaDive just installed a membrane system last week.

He's name is Walter!!!Nope, wasn't him. It was a middle-aged guy, mid-fifties with white hair and a beard. I tried to find him on Google but I didn't see him.
I first learned about the caves (caverns, indentation, whatever it is) in the lonely planet guide but those guys confirmed it at Karpata.
Even if you don't find the caves, Karpata is a great site.
You responded to a thread that is 12 years old! His full name is Walter Stark. He is still on island but sold his tech shop some years ago. The shop is now closed. He's name is Walter. I dived in Winjammer whit him!!
