yeah it is a bit surreal, a florida team winning the championship in a cold weather sport. My next perdiction is Jamica's bobsledding team is going to take gold in the next winter olympics. :eyebrow:

I watched all the games in the Finals. It was a great series....both teams played their Arses off. Last night when they went into the 3rd period up by two I was so happy. That mid period goal that Haubi was looking the other way on should not have happened. I was really angry and frighten that TB was starting to fizzle out. But they hung tough and became the CHAMPS!!!!

Now everyone will get to see what Lord Stanley Cup looks like with a tan :eyebrow:

Paula - my wife is a life long Wings fan having grown up and lived in Warren, MI. She looked so dejected and sad like someone told her that the Easter Bunny died when the Wings were handed their jersey's this year. Her Wings jersey, bloodstained from fights in the stands against opposing fans at the Joe in defense of her team, still lay in a semi crumpled heap on the trunk at the foot of our bed. She was happy my Bolts showed their real game the past few nights and gave Calgary and the world the best games of hockey in the playoffs that we've seen in years.. but she said defiantly "The Wings will be back next year... if there is a next year. Then the Bolts will be sorry!"

WildBill - does your couch have cushions that look like TACOS now because the game was so intense that your clenched butt cheeks helped redesign them?? My couch looks real funny.. 3 leather cushions just all taco'd out!
 
Great time. Couldn't get tickets. Had fun with the others outside the Forum watching game 7 on the big screen on the parking deck. Last year the Bucs, this year the Bolts.... next year the D Rays?

Thats actually written to Paula. My wife is Kristie, KBulla, and she now lives in Ft Myers with me as I imported that wonderful woman down to FL. :)
