Body of an Adult Male Recovered in the Water in Fort Erie

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2007, members Niagara Regional Police Service

Marine and Dive Units recovered the body of an adult male near the Niagara Parks Commission
Marina in Fort Erie.
The NRPS Marine and Dive Units were at the scene conducting a search in relation to a missing
person investigation.
The body of the deceased was located in the water approximately 1 kilometer north of the Marina and
approximately 200 feet from the shoreline.
The deceased has been positively identified as that of ********** a 51-year-old​

St.Catharines resident. Mr. PESO had been reported missing on February 23
rd, 2007.


A post mortem examination of the deceased was conducted at the Hamilton General Hospital on
Friday, March 30, 2007.
Foul play is not suspected in this incident.​
The Niagara Regional Police Service wishes to thank those who assisted in the matter.

No news on what happened? Good that they recovered the deceased at least.
