Body found in Inks lake

I am not a diver but I do like browsing and reading about what going on in and under local lakes. I heard on the radio that a body has been found under the Inks lake bridge, I remember reading that someone was going diving there and figured I would share. They say it has been in the lake for 8-9 months, and will be treated as a homicide. Pretty creepy.

Rec divers saw a boat and what they thought were bones. They took pics and showed them to the Sheriff's office.

Well, I'm SURE that once Rhonda reads this, we won't be diving in inks like we had thought about doing......I'll scratch that body of water of the list of potential dive sites....

Hopefully they will be able to identify the body and bring some closure to a family. I also hope that the recreational divers were not too freaked out. Not sure how I would handle a similar situation.

You are right! We can scratch that one off. Although, this means that there were some other divers actually diving in Inks lake! Hmmmm....

The divers that found the body are fine. Can't say much but everything is great with them.
Just because a body was found in inks, doesn't mean that you can't dive there. Look @ how many bodies have been found in travis.... people still dive there all the time.
Inks is a fun place to dive, I will be back again & again & again & again....
