Happened to me once. good thing with Carib Inn is there is only one person from Carib Inn on the boat. So you dive your own profile, its very much like shore diving you are responsible for yourself and your buddy.
Problem though when you run into something like this, dive master is last one in the water. anyway i only ran into this once and don't think its something expected. If it happened more than once would be in their "face" about it and would choose again. Matter of fact I am sure I talked to them and decided to go with them again based on what was said. I do believe the people at the Carib Inn to be exceptional. Also Bart at Wannadive is a great divemaster too, just not as sure about the rest of them there.
But if you are looking to be lead don;t go with the Carib Inn, my 2cents.
