I am taking a boat from Cabo to La Paz in late December early January. We want to do quite a bit of diving along the way, but we won't be using the local dive boats as we are lucky enough to have the use of a boat. I have found the names and general locations of a lot of dive sites, but no GPS coordinates for them. Is it necessary to pinpoint the sites with GPS? Or is depth, bottom contour, and a general idea of where they are on a chart enough to find them. I have never been diving down there, but it seems like a lot of you have. Any advice will be very much appreciated, and any GPS numbers would surely merit a few drinks if I ever run into you. Thank you.
