hello,
I'm new to the Tampa area. I'm a little out of practice in terms of diving and I was wondering if there are any shallow boat dives (60 feet or less) in the area that I could go on to ease back into this? I know very little about the diving in this part of Florida.

I'm in Pinellas Park but it doesn't have to be right in Pinellas county--I can drive an hour or two if necessary. Thanks.

PM Capt. Ty on this board...he runs out of Lighthouse Point Marina in St. Pete's and can take you some shallower ledges.

Cheers.

That is your best bet. And yes there are lots of dives on the "shallow" side. :) there are even a couple of shore dives. You could grab a buddy and go. If you don't have a buddy, post for one here.
