I have a AOI UWL-400A Wide-angle Lens, use with TG 6. I tried taking video/photo of sealions/sharks/wrecks with natural bright light condition, but what i notice is that my photo seems to be more blurry with the lens due to the distance. What exactly is wrong here?

Can you post an example?

compare to this photo, where i did not use wet lens, but i feel the image is less blurry although the distance is wider

Are you burping the lens, are you zoomed all the way out?

Sponge is maybe 6-12 inches away, wife 3-5 feet, surface 30'

This is a Fantasea wet lens, 120 degree, same lens even says OAI on the bottom blade of the shade, on a TG-5

What are the imaging conditions in the info file, wondering if it's a shutter speed issue.

I am seeing a lot of what I think is pixelation and also low dynamic range with blowouts due to the tiny sensor and som internal reflections inside the dome lens from shooting so directly into the sun. Which is often hard not to do with a WA lens or perhaps even desirable to do. Shooting into the sun can/will reduce the contrast due to the internal dome reflections.

Comparing a photo to a video or a photo pulled from a video is not a good comparison.

Did you notice if there is fogging on the inside of the lens port? It sort of looks like a haze or fog on the port lens, inside the port.
