I just had to share. I'm asked daily if the GoPro Camera can shoot quality underwater video? I'd say the answer is yes! Even better... no PHD required to obtain great video.

One of our customers shared his last vacation video including his first shark dive. All I can say is WOW! You need to watch the whole video as there are several close encounters with these animals. Plus you see a chum-ball swallowed less than 12 inches from the divers face. I also need to mention this is his second outing with the GoPro as well as being relatively young in his dive experience. Nice Job.

Specs:

  • 50ft
  • GoPro HERO (not Hero2)
  • R5 Setting
  • BlurFix
  • URPro Cy Filter
  • No Light
  • Nerves of steel

Great stuff. Where was this shot at?

Looks like an awesome dive. My encounter with sharks was not that "interactive". His dive looks like more fun but I might need a spare suit to change into for the second dive :D. Thanks to you (and to the person that shot the video) for sharing it.
