Does anybody have a readout on the current water temp?

We dove BL on the last day of the season (December 14th) and literally froze our a**es off. My son wore his full suit (3-5mm) and a shorty over it with hood and could not put his hands into the water. I was able to dive a bit since I am a walrus with a blubber protection layer. Anyway, we discovered our water temp limits. My Datamask read 56 degrees--we need at least 10 above that to drive up again.

im going up on the 15th. i will be diving my drysuit and plan on staying nice and toasty!

this little cool snap isnt going to be warming it up to much

Point. But the clay bottom at BL stores heat, the (somewhat) clear water let's it in. A couple of bright sunny days will heat it up while a short snap shouldn't take too much out of it. Anyway, Airphil's is posting temp readings and most of us are itching for a quickie dive day anyway.
